Val d'Isere is quite simply one of the best ski resorts in the world. Such is the high standard of skiing here it is one of the very few ski resorts in the world to have staged a World Cup.

The resort boasts more than 100 miles of slopes and some of the best off piste terrain in the world. It’s popular with snowboarders as well as skiers because the terrain is so vast and varied.

Val d’Isere is not just about skiing; the resort has much to keep visitors entertained off the slopes too. You could spend all day shopping at Val d’Isere’s designer shops and the nightlife is among the best in the Alps.


There are some great mountain restaurants, most of which have fantastic panoramic views on a good day. If you’re on a budget then there are numerous cafes and restaurants to cater for all tastes. 


The resort boasts plenty of lively bars and pubs. When the sun goes down many of the bars have discos or live bands playing with dancing and drinking until the early hours.
