Tackling the beaches and bars in sunny Majorca!

I decided to escape to Majorca for my off-season and long over-due getaway!

When participating in European Tournaments airports are a familiar place. However, in Leeds Bradford I am always impressed with the friendliness of the place. Call it Yorkshire Charm if you will, but it really got me in the holiday spirit; that and the fact I didn't have to be on my guard for people trying to pull my trousers down or hide my passport!

The plane journey seemed to take no time at all, after taking advantage of the in-flight menu - I recommend the Eclairs (Off-Season remember!) the doors were opened to a blast of warm air- my favourite indication that the weather is perfect!

My girlfriend Gemma and I stayed in Cala D’or: The Sea and Sun did wonders for my aches and pains from having to play against men as big as the mountains we flew over. My fix of sport was more than adequately provided from some lively European Cup fixtures.

The week passed too quickly… after a smooth flight back to the bright Lights of Leeds it seemed my next holiday would be too far away. For Gemma on the other hand, her impulsively planned Christmas shopping trip to New York with Jet2holidays will be here before we know it!

Be sure to book your escapade to the sun with fm just £25.99 one way inc taxes this summer, or if like Gemma, New York floats your boat, then visit to book now!
