Summer 20 Now On Sale From Six UK Bases!

On the back of the welcome news that UK airlines will be able to continue to operate flights between the UK and the EU, Jet2.com and Jet2holidays is bringing even more good news to customers, thanks to the announcement today of an expanded Summer 20 programme from six of our UK bases.

Today’s announcement includes NINE BRAND NEW ROUTES and MORE SEATS ON SALE THAN EVER, meaning that customers travelling from Belfast International, Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, London Stansted, Manchester and Newcastle have more choice and flexibility when choosing flights and holidays to their favourite destinations across Europe, the Mediterranean and the Canary Islands next summer.

We’re far from done, with Summer 20 from our other UK bases to be announced, and even more good news on its way! So keep watching this space.

The brand new routes and key highlights we are announcing today are detailed below:

Belfast International

 

BRAND NEW Izmir (Turkey) - Services operating every Tuesday from May to September, means that Northern Ireland holidaymakers can now access popular family friendly resorts on the west coast of Turkey such as Kusadasi, Cesme, Ozdere and Seferihisar.

Flights and holidays on sale to 24 destinations.

The addition of over 20,000 seats means almost HALF A MILLION seats are going on sale, a 4% capacity increase.

Tenerife –additional of third weekly service means over 35,000 seats on sale.

More seats on sale to sunshine favourites Palma (Majorca), Malaga, Malta and Reus (Costa Dorada).

Turkey – weekly services to Antalya and Izmir on top of twice weekly services to Dalaman.

Two weekly services to Lanzarote, Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria, providing plenty of choice and flexibility for holidaymakers wanting to soak up the Canary Islands sunshine.

Continued popularity of Paphos, with over 10,000 seats on sale to Cyprus.

Weekly services to the Greek sunshine, whether that’s in Crete (Heraklion), Rhodes or Zante.

Mainland Spain & The Balearics – great choice and flexibility to hotspots such as Costa de Almeria, Alicante, Girona (Costa Brava), Ibiza and Menorca.

Faro (Algarve) – up to five weekly services, with flights on Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Naples services every Sunday from April until November.

Bourgas (Bulgaria) – weekly Tuesday service operating on larger aircraft.

 

Birmingham: FOUR BRAND NEW DESTINATIONS WITH MORE NEWS COMING SOON!

 

BRAND NEW Kefalonia – weekly flights every Wednesday from May to September. With rugged mountains, lush vineyards and golden beaches, Kefalonia is a picture-book island paradise. Lakes, caves, beaches and culinary delights will draw in local holidaymakers, as do resorts such as Skala, Lassi, Kateilos and Lourdas.

BRAND NEW Nice – with services every Monday, Friday and Saturday commencing from 22nd May, in time for the Monaco Grand Prix, holidaymakers will be able to enjoy the French Riviera at its best. Locals will be able to stroll along the blissful promenade, take in the glittering blue horizon of the Mediterranean, and enjoy rich culture rolled together with a beautiful coastline.

BRAND NEW Murcia – with twice weekly services (Monday and Friday) from 22nd May, locals can enjoy a city full of history, traditions and culture in south-east Spain. Medieval meets modern in this, with exquisite pieces of old architecture contrasting with the stunning beaches and cosmopolitan vibe.

BRAND NEW Budapest – already a Winter route, customers can now enjoy this Hungarian capital through the glorious Summer months. With services every Monday and Friday, perfectly timed for a long weekend break, ‘The Queen of the Danube’ has magnificent sights lining both sides of the mighty river. Huge squares and grand buildings tell detailed stories about Budapest’s impressive history. Locals can also enjoy thermal baths, decadent cafés and arty pubs in this hippest of cities.

Canary Islands – more services to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote mean up to 24 weekly services.

Turkey – more services and seats on sale in response to continued demand for holidays to Antalya, Bodrum, Dalaman and Izmir.

Greece – additional service to Crete (Heraklion) means five services every week, in addition to great choice and flexibility to Crete (Chania), Corfu (now three weekly services), Kos (two weekly services), Rhodes (four weekly services), Halkidiki (weekly Friday service) and Zante (three weekly services).

Cyprus – additional service to Larnaca means four weekly services, on top of four weekly services to Paphos.

Daily and multiple daily flights to the most popular sunshine hotspots including Malaga, Alicante, Faro, Palma (Majorca) and Ibiza.

Italy – additional services to Pisa (now three weekly services) and Verona (now two weekly services), in addition to Rome (four weekly services), Naples (two weekly services) and Venice (two weekly services).

Bourgas (Bulgaria) popularity of new for Summer 19 destination means three weekly services.

Croatia six flights a week to Croatia, with services to Dubrovnik, Pula and Split.

London Stansted – THREE BRAND NEW DESTINATIONS WITH MORE NEWS COMING SOON!

 

BRAND NEW Murcia – up to three weekly services (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) from May to October, locals can enjoy a city full of history, traditions and culture in south-east Spain. Medieval meets modern in this, with exquisite pieces of old architecture contrasting with the stunning beaches and cosmopolitan vibe.

BRAND NEW La Rochelle – the picturesque harbour port of La Rochelle is another new addition, with weekly Saturday departures commencing in May. Lined with seafood restaurants, the city is popular with campers and boating enthusiasts. With a well-preserved walled old town at the heart of the city, La Rochelle also provides access via bridge to Il de Re, an Atlantic-coast island of dunes and pine forest - a relaxed destination with beautiful villages, long golden beaches and rural cycle paths

BRAND NEW Bergerac – The famous Dordogne region is one of the most beautiful areas of France, and locals can experience its many charms thanks to the introduction of weekly Saturday services from May. The area features chateaux, medieval towns, unspoiled countryside, wine tasting, culinary delights and an array of outdoor activities.

Canary Islands – more services to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote mean up to 30 weekly services during peak periods.

Turkey – more flights to Antalya mean up to nine weekly services (daily services, including double services on Wednesday and Sunday). There are also nine weekly services to Dalaman services (daily services, including double services on Tuesday and Thursday), as well as four weekly services to Bodrum and two weekly services to Izmir.

Newcastle

 

BRAND NEW Kos - services operating to Kos every Monday from May to October, giving customers a choice of lively party towns, laid-back seaside resorts and traditional fishing villages – all of them jewelled with beautiful beaches, and dishing up heavenly traditional cuisine.

Flights and holidays on sale to 33 destinations.

More capacity means over ONE MILLION seats on sale.

Canary Islands – up to 12 weekly services to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

Turkey – more services to Antalya (now five weekly services), Bodrum (now two weekly services), Dalaman (now up to five weekly services) as well as continuation of weekly service to Izmir.

Daily services to sunshine favourites Palma (Majorca), Malaga, Alicante and Faro.

Leeds Bradford

Flights and holidays on sale to 49 destinations.

The addition of more than 50,000 extra seats means that nearly 2 MILLION seats are going on sale, more than ever before.

Over 200 weekly flights departing during peak periods.

Canary Islands – more services to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote mean up to 21 weekly services, including eight to Tenerife.

More choice and flexibility to the most popular sunshine hotspots. Daily, double-daily and three flights daily flights to Malaga, Alicante, Faro, Palma (Majorca) and Ibiza.

Turkey – more services and seats on sale in response to continued demand for holidays to Antalya (now daily services), Bodrum (now twice weekly services), Dalaman (six weekly services) and Izmir (weekly service every Wednesday).

Flights and holidays on sale to 48 destinations with more exciting news on its way!  

The addition of almost 70,000 extra seats means that nearly THREE MILLION seats are going on sale, more than ever before.

Over 250 weekly flights departing during peak periods.

Canary Islands – more services to Tenerife, Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura and Lanzarote mean up to 29 weekly services, including 13 to Tenerife.

More choice and flexibility to the most popular sunshine hotspots. Daily, double-daily and three times daily flights to Malaga, Alicante (double-daily), Faro, Palma (Majorca) and Ibiza (double-daily).

Turkey – over 20 weekly services thanks to more services and seats on sale in response to continued demand for holidays. Includes Antalya (now daily services), Dalaman (now daily services), Bodrum (four weekly services) and Izmir (three weekly services).
