As the only airline flying to the slopes from Leeds Bradford Airport, we are delighted to announce a brand new and exclusive ski route to Turin, giving local skiers and snowboarders an even bigger piste of the action for Winter 18/19.

The new route means that we will now operate to five ski destinations from Leeds Bradford Airport this winter, with over 60,000 departing ski seats on sale. It also means that Yorkshire’s leading airline now has a total of 58 routes on sale from Leeds Bradford (Summer and Winter).

The addition of the new and exclusive route to Turin gives ski and snowsports fans from the region even more choice this winter. The legacy of Turin’s 2006 Winter Olympics means skiers can enjoy fast, hassle-free transfers to well-facilitated skiing villages boasting spectacular downhill runs and modern lift systems. As well as providing a gateway to 400km of piste at the Milky Way ski area, Turin provides access to several major Italian ski resorts such as Cervinia, Courmayeur, Vars, Le Corbier, Sestriere and Pila.

With perfectly-timed flights on Saturday mornings between late December and mid-April, skiers have more time to enjoy the slopes too.

We already operate to Geneva, Grenoble, Salzburg and Barcelona (Andorra) from Leeds Bradford Airport, so the addition of Turin unlocks Italy’s best Alpine ski resorts on top of these great ski destinations. This is our second new winter destination from Leeds Bradford Airport for Winter 18/19, in addition to Krakow.

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays said: “As the only airline flying to the slopes from Leeds Bradford Airport, we are delighted to be giving customers even more choice thanks to the addition of flights to Turin. This means customers can choose from five ski routes with Jet2.com this winter, and with Saturday morning flights giving skiers and snowboarders even more time to hit the slopes, we expect this to be an enormously popular route.”
