Jet2 the piste from East Midlands and take your skis or board for free

October 22, 2010 at 14:18 is urging all lovers of the piste to book their ski breaks now and take advantage of free ski and snowboard carriage on all flights from East Midlands Airport to Geneva and Chambery booked from today until 31st October 2010.  

Each skier or boarder on a booking can choose to take a ski or board bag for free – on one way or return flights. Ski and board bags have a generous baggage allowance of 20kg. When booking customers just add a ski or board bag onto their booking and the cost will be deducted prior to payment. 

This winter is serving the many skiers and boarders of the region for the first time since the airline launched at the airport in May 2010. direct flights from East Midlands to the gateway airports for the Alps - Chambery and Geneva - are on sale now with fares to both destinations starting from just £19.99 one way including taxes. 

The winter ski routes start flying weekly on 20th December 2010 to Geneva and 27th December to Chambery, and continue until the season ends on 23rd April 2010.’s flight times are scheduled to get you to the slopes in time to be able to get out on the snow on the day you arrive. As with all flights customers don’t need to scramble for a seat as seats are pre-allocated.
