Jet2.com listening to our customers delivers the best results

Commenting on trading through the six months to the end September 2009, Philip Meeson, our Chief Executive said: "At Jet2.com, we do everything we can to pay attention to our customers needs and react as quickly as possible.

We don't always get it right first time but we try to listen and learn. The best businesses give their customers what they want and by doing that - ensuring we have low cost flights, great departure times and fabulous sunshine and ski destinations we have been able to deliver another successful year's trading. Year on year we produce great financial results and this year has proved no exception, despite the difficulties suffered by many of our competitors. We believe our friendly low fares formula and exciting new bases such as our recent East Midlands expansion have once again contributed to another fantastic year.

After a very successful year of trading through to the end of March 2009, we are pleased to report on the Groups trading through the first six months ending 30th September 2009.



  • Turnover maintained at £272.7m  
  • Pre-tax profits of £28.1m  
  • Load factors increased to 81%  
  • Interim dividend declared at 0.36p per share
