Marbella is famous for lots of things like its sandy white beaches, its fantastic nightlife and its bustling marina where luxurious yachts arrive from all over the world. But one event, which is growing with locals and visitors alike, is Marbella’s annual International Art Festival.

Costa Arts

Celebrating Local Artists

The event sees artists from all over the Costa del Sol region displaying their paintings, sculptures and ceramics in Alameda Park and along the Avenida del Mar, just a few metres from the beach.

Last year the festival attracted over 20,000 visitors and this year figures are expected to be higher as the streets come to life with entertainment, live music, dance and art film screenings for three days in late June.

The festival was created in 2009 by a dedicated group of Spanish and overseas residents, with the backing of Marbella Town Hall. Two years later and the event has grown into one of the biggest art festivals in Southern Spain.
