The workshops will focus on science, history, drama and crafts, as well as giving pupils all the excitement you would expect from a school trip overseas.

Each regional winner will be announced on Monday 19th March.

Steve Heapy, CEO of and Jet2holidays said: “Our recent study has shown that children today are inspired by school trips with 85% reporting that they enjoy them because they really bring a subject to life. In that spirit, Jet2holidays is getting ready to fly nine school classes to Majorca for this educational trip of a lifetime, giving them the opportunity to travel abroad with their classmates whilst incorporating learning with fun.

“The standard of the entries has been exceptional and I would like to say thank you to all the hundreds of schools that have taken part. We have been staggered by the quality and the effort of the work that pupils have produced, however the shortlisted schools have shown creative brilliance and I’d like to congratulate them and wish them good luck in the public vote.”
