Les Arcs is made up of four modern, purpose built resorts: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000.

Arc 1600 – Friendly, quiet and compact

The oldest village of the four, Arc 1600 enjoys spectacular views over the valley towards Mont Blanc. It has a reputation for being warm and friendly; although it does have a quiet nightlife.  

Arc 1800 – Lively and entertaining

The second oldest resort was established in 1975. It is by far the liveliest and particularly popular with young adults as well as families. Beginners will feel more than comfortable on 1800’s wide, easy nursery slopes. 

Arc 1950 – Modern, eye-catching and luxurious

This is the newest of all the resorts in this region, perfectly located in the heart of a 300-year-old pine forest. There’s even a heated outdoor pool and Jacuzzi to keep you entertained.  

Arc 2000 – Seclusion at its finest 

This is the highest of all the local resorts and it’s finely secluded at the base of the Aiguille Rouge. It’s also the home of the Speed Skiing World Championships.
