Best International Campaign award

Jet2.com is delighted that the Yorkshire Tourist Board in partnership with Jet2.com won the Northern Marketing Award for the Most Effective use of International Marketing last Thursday. The award was given for a campaign by Jet2.com and Yorkshire Tourist Board to promote Yorkshire in Spain

'The 7 Deadly Sins of Yorkshire' campaign was commended for being creative and innovative in the way it used the sins to take a light-hearted look at the pleasures of Yorkshire. It used each sin to show off Yorkshire's famous welcome, state of the art attractions, fantastic landscapes, dramatic coastline and countryside. As Joanna Royle, Marketing Director for YTB said: "Yorkshire has an amazing array of cutting edge places to visit and stay and through campaigns like this together with partners such as Jet2.com and internationally renowned ambassadors for our region such as the Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys and Damien Hirst, we are reaching a global platform."
