The Leisure Airline with Friendly Low Fares - A Brief History of has been flying commercial aircraft for three decades, operating under the name Channel Express (Air Services) for the first 20 years. began operating as a leisure airline in February 2003, flying daily from Leeds Bradford International Airport, to and from Amsterdam. During 2003, scheduled flights were launched to seven European city break and sun destinations, carrying more than 360,000 passengers in the first year. By September 2004, had carried more than 1 million passengers, a figure that had increased to 20 million by October 2010.
