From its centres in Guernsey and Jersey, Channel Express (Channel Islands) accepts, cools and
despatches cut flowers, pot plants, fresh produce, health products and other goods daily by sea and air to the UK where
they enter the Fowler Welch distribution system.
Channel Express (CI) Ltd offers a scheduled air freight service from Bournemouth International Airport, which provides an
important link between the Channel Islands and the UK mainland for urgent freight. Cut flowers, pot plants and fresh produce
comprise the main exports by air and sea from the Islands with chilled foods, mail, newspapers and a wide range of consumer
goods making up consignments for the return journey.
Channel Express (CI) also receives from the United Kingdom, at its dedicated facilities at Fareham (Hants), general freight
for Channel Islands’ businesses which are carried in the Group’s own vehicles. Local deliveries by road in both Islands enable the
company to offer a high quality "door-to-door" service to its customers.
